2009-2021:

Production Design/Art Director

Through 12 years at Groupon, my role and responsibilities grew dramatically from image editor to production and creative lead in our newly formed studio. Over that time, I was an integral part of the team — creating processes to ensure consistently high-quality work delivered on time, developing Groupon’s in-house production studio, and managing both creative and logistical aspects of photo shoots and content creation.

One of the in-house studio responsibilities was to create a custom asset library that would allow businesses to feature high-quality original images for their deals. This guaranteed for a fresher user experience as these images were exclusively on Groupon. Multiple categories were created — from health & beauty to food & drink to creating a cohesive look and feel for Groupon’s product pages.

Don’t. Use Groupon.

Ideated, pitched, and co-directed a campaign geared towards business owners to dispel any hesitancy about partnering with Groupon. Briefed to be edgy.

We lead with tongue in cheek honesty- owning up to what we were (and false rumors) and tackling each issue head on. This video was made to be split into multiple :06’s, :15’s, and :30’s for a broad social campaign.

Overall CTA was to drive people to dontusegroupon.com — which went into further details and drove to the merchant sign up page. Having this site also allowed an SEO play where the site would populate when curious merchants go looking for answers, allowing Groupon to get out front.

So #@$%ing Ready!

Co-wrote & created the social campaign for a $100k giveaway geared to ramp into the summer. Reached over a half a million views during a month long four post campaign.
